DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
The Attendant reports to the Steward and is responsible for cleaning cabins and public spaces that are allocated to him daily. The Attendant also assists in the preparing of foods and maintains kitchen.
¨ To assist at meal time with galley duties.
¨ Cleaning cabin and other public areas.
¨ To help with the loading of catering stores as required.
¨ Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds vegetables and fruits, cleanse, cuts, and grinds meats, poultry, and seafood, dips food items in crumbs, flour, and batter to bread them.
¨ Makes beds and cleans bedrooms and bathrooms assigned to crew members of the vessel, washes, dries, and folds clothes of crew members and barge linen.
¨ Washes work tables, serving stands, walls, stoves, ovens, refrigerator, pots, pans, and trays, sets up tables and cleans them after each meal.
¨ To be familiar with company procedures, policies, work permit and particular in respect to Safe Working Practices, Company Safety Policy, and Environmental Policy.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Has the ability to work on the Bold Endurance - DP Class 2 Vessel.
Must possess a STCW 95 Certificate.
Shall provide documentation of competence to cook/prepare meals.
