Description

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs basic vessel operation procedures and ensures that vessel and equipment conditions are acceptable.
Controls the navigational watch.
Controls the vessel manually, by joystick, or automatically in the dynamic positioning mode.
Ensures that all navigational equipment and publications are in order.
Ensures that all life saving appliances are kept in operational condition and ready for use.
Confers with the deck foreman and chief engineer to keep the vessel in an acceptable seagoing condition.
Reports to the DP Operator concerning the loading condition and stability of the barge.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Has the ability to work on the Bold Endurance - DP Class 2 Vessel

Chief Engineer - Hold a License equal to a British DOT Class 1 Motor Certificate, Barbados Certificate of Comptetence, and have three (3) years experience on DP vessels

Second Engineer - Hold a License equal to a British DOT Class 2 Motor Certificate, Barbados Certificate of Comptetence, and have two (2) years experience on DP vessels

Third Engineer - Hold a License equal to a British DOT Class 3 Motor Certificate, Barbados Certificate of Comptetence, and have three (3) years experience on DP vessels
