Description

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Mops or washes down deck and superstructure using hose and solvent to remove oil, dirt, and debris.
Covers and mans lifeboat in case of emergency.
Stands steering watches or lookout watches while underway.
Chips and cleans deck and superstructure of vessel using hand or chipping hammer and wire brush, and paints chipped areas.
Lubricates machinery and equipment, splices and repairs cables and ropes using hand tools.
Works a 12 hour shift in an offshore environment and adopts safety program of company.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Has the ability to work on the Bold Endurance - DP Class 2 Vessel.

Must hold appropriate STCW Certification and have four (4) years experience in the capacity of a deck hand/seaman.
